When getting any part of your body waxed make sure your hair is about a grain of rice long but the longer, the better. DO NOT attempt to trim anything prior to coming in because you’ll probably trim it too short and we won’t be able to wax you. Remember, make sure you aren’t on any retinol medicines from a doctor or anything prescribed by a doctor that could make your skin sensitive, like Accutane. It’s important to let us know if you’re on any medications so we can make sure it’s okay for you to get waxed.

The first time getting anything waxed you will be a little uncomfortable because your hair seems coarser from years of shaving. We wax quickly and efficiently so you will get amazing results and each wax gets easier after every time!

If you end up having your period at your appointment, that’s okay! It’s perfectly safe. Our skin tends to be more sensitive so if you can avoid getting waxed right before or during your period that would be ideal. If you do get waxed during your period just make sure you wear a tampon or disc/cup to your appointment.

We recommend 2-3 weeks for face/brow waxes and 4-6 weeks for body waxing. Everyone is different and might have to come sooner or can go longer in between waxes. We will figure out the best schedule for you to continue getting the best results possible.
